Lumbar Spinal Stenosis Stem Cell Treatment
Natural Process. Quick Recovery. Lumbar Spinal Stenosis Stem Cell Treatment!
What is Lumbar Spinal Stenosis
Lumbar Spinal stenosis involves narrowing of the spaces where nerves travel in the spine. When these spaces narrow it can easily irritate nerves and cause pain and numbness that radiates into the buttocks and legs. The process typically occurs slowly over time as spine tissues and bone degenerate and as a result thicken and form extra bone that blocks or narrows the passage ways that nerves travel through down the spine. As a result these nerves become easily irritated causing pain that frequently travels into the legs. Patients may find that certain positions such as standing and walking tend to make their symptoms worse.
Downfalls of low back surgery
Low back surgery often involves cutting spine bones and in many cases fusing these bones using metal hardware. In some cases, low back surgery is a necessity but there are many instances in which surgery may not be needed or the most preferred option at the time. Low back surgery is often invasive and comes with significant recovery time. When more invasive surgery is performed and hardware is added studies show that segments below and above the hardware sites are prone to wear down quicker because more mechanical forces are distributed to these levels. In many instances this may result in a need for additional surgeries in the future.
A Bio-Restorative Stem Cell procedure for Lumbar Spinal Stenosis
Traditionally, the only treatment for those with lumbar spinal stenosis were band-aid medications and injections or invasive surgeries that involved cutting and often fusing spine bones.
A Bio-Restorative Stem Cell procedure targeting inflamed nerves in spinal stenosis is an ultra- minimally invasive same-day injection procedure designed to alleviate pain and improve function. In addition to being less invasive than surgery, the procedure conveys less risk of complications and less downtime. Most importantly, it allows you to keep the natural mechanics of the spine and prevent additional wear and tear on surrounding areas of the back.
In other words, the Stem Cells from your own body harness your own body’s healing and anti-inflammatory capability to naturally reduce pain and get you back to doing the things you love.
